Same fun comedy, new location! Starring legendary Portland comedian, SUSAN RICE!

On March 16th, 1983, Susan stepped on stage at the Leaky Roof Tavern in Portland, Oregon to work on a one woman show and she has used her sense of humor to entertain audiences all over the US and abroad ever since!

Moving to Los Angeles, Susan rapidly became a regular at the Icehouse in Pasadena, Igby’s, The Comedy Store, and worked for the Improvs.  Rice learned from wonderful headliners on the road; comic’s like Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Hicks, Sam Kinison and Paula Poundstone.

Since her return to the Pacific Northwest, Rice has been invited to perform in The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Las Vegas Comedy Festival and was a contestant in HBO/TNT Comedy Festival at Caesar’s Palace Lucky 21 Contest.

She has lent her talent to the  “All Jane, No Dick, Women in Comedy Festival”, promoting women in comedy.  More recently she appeared in “Portlandia.”

She was featured in an independent film/documentary by Anna Field called, ‘The Girl in the Show,” a retrospective of the life of Gilda Radner and women in comedy.

Rice has helped raise thousands of dollars for Relay for Life through her association with “The Boob Tour” Humane Societies in the U.S. and Canada.

“Funny For Food” is a pet show she produces for the Portland Food Bank.
